It's hard to find any scientific fact on this subject... But, in this post I am going to share with you the importance if our youth in saving this planet we call home.
As time has gone by, technology has improved, and our scientists have come to learn that we have rapidly increased the speed of degradation of the Earth. We cannot reverse what we have already done, but we can hold back on the future.
If change is not made within 10 years, I am afraid of what our home will be like. I, nor anyone else, cannot definitively say exactly what will happen, but there have been enough studies to know that it is not good.
Our youth, will be the most influential in making this necessary change occur.
Please, if you are a teacher, teach your children how to properly take care of the planet, and follow sustainable practices in your classrooms.
Please, if you are a parent, teach your children to love their home.
Please, if you are a child, teach your parents and families how to love their planet and how to take care of it.
Children (ages 0-25) have this magical gift of being able to inspire. Use it for good. Technology has become so accessible and it can reach all over the world. Use it to share messages of hope and teach others how to transform.
If you are a member of our world's youth, you and I are going to decide what this world will be. We are the creators of our own future. We will be there within a blink of an eye.
What are you passionate about? You were given your dreams for a reason. Make them come true, and use them for good! <3
If you are an adult, please listen to the lessons of your children as you wish for them to learn from you. You have more experience and more wisdom, but you also have the ability to learn and adapt to the changes in the world. Things change as we grow up.
What we are doing today will not be the same as what will be doing in 50, 20, or even just 5 years.
For everyone, learn to adapt and to be open to new lessons. Change is scary, but it is necessary.
